Design-build is the approach at Urban Outdoor Solutions, an East Valley firm that plans a pool together with the rest of the backyard. Its gunite and shotcrete pools come with sun shelves, Baja steps, deck jets and integrated spas, and existing pools can be remodeled or upgraded.
A family-owned Chandler builder that pitches itself as more than a pool company, Az Backyard Lifestyles combines pool construction with landscape and outdoor kitchen packages for Valley of the Sun homeowners. It builds in-ground concrete pools, with shotcrete among its stated construction phases, and offers custom pool and spa designs plus features such as sheer rain curtains and baja shelves.
A one-contractor operation with more than twenty years in the pool trade, Wolverine Pools covers new builds, remodels, repairs and routine service across the East Valley. Remodel work includes chip-out and replaster or pebble resurfacing, rebar repairs, new tile, acrylic or travertine decks, water features, slides, grottos, lighting packages, automation, added steps and baja shelves, and portable spas with stone surrounds.
Gunite is the construction material of choice at Arizona Breeze Pools, a metro Phoenix contractor that builds custom pools for homeowners across the Valley, including Chandler, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Scottsdale and San Tan Valley. An online design walkthrough lets visitors choose a pool shape, with or without a spa, then pick an interior finish, a deck material such as travertine, pavers or cool deck, an optional water feature from fountains to real rock waterfalls, and the equipment priorities that matter most, including automation, heating and energy efficiency.
Renovation is the whole focus here: this Chandler company has specialized in pool surface replacement and resurfacing since 1990 and calls itself Arizona's first pool remodeling company. In-house surface, tile and plumbing crews handle pebble and plaster finishes, tile and coping updates, deck resurfacing, equipment upgrades, water features, lighting, sun shelves, spas, structural repairs and leak detection.
Cooler-underfoot decking is a talking point for this family-owned Chandler builder, whose Island Stone decks are described as staying far cooler than travertine in summer heat. The company designs custom inground pools across Greater Phoenix, including Scottsdale, Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe and Fountain Hills, and also handles remodeling and renovation of existing pools.
